 Hi, I'm Shannon. I am almost 5 years old and I love living in the forests of Maine. Maine is a beautiful state and I am lucky to grow up here. Maine is ranked the #1 place to raise kids! I am happy to be a Maine native like my great-grandfather who was born in Belfast, Maine in 1859. He grew up to be a civil engineer and in 1880 he was commissioned by the Honduran government to create the first official map of Honduras, Central America. It took him three years!
